Great view of Mt Fuji from our room. Facilities were super clean and well maintained. Room was comfortable and we had no issues with sharing the bathroom as everything was well maintained which was a huge huge plus! Staff were helpful. We were pretty central. Easy walk to the station in one direction, shops and dining in every other direction. The area itself is quiet and appears mostly residential. If you're coming with luggage I suggest you plan ahead as the centre is small and crowded and it's road side walking which makes for hard work walking to and from with a suitcase. Maybe look into luggage forwarding if you're travelling as group. We only had one suitcase so we managed okay but we watched a lot families struggle lugging there stuff around and people with more than one suitcase taking up a lot of space. Stay away from dining around the centre if you can. We went to the tempura place but it was just a tourist eye grab with not much substance. Go to other spots around town.

We loved this hostel so much, we booked a private room but saw a queen room was available just before arrival so asked if we could switch and this was accommodated with no questions asked. The staff were so friendly, the location in excellent - short walk from the station, tucked away off a quiet road. The decor is warm and minimalistic and we loved the bar area. We unfortunately stayed on a very rainy night, but sitting watching the rain with a drink and delicious food felt very cosy. The room was incredibly spacious and even had a good size fridge which we were not expecting. The showers were excellent and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Kawaguchiko!

I cannot explain how good this place is! Not only the beds and facilities but also the design of the place and the staff is amazing. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and something to note is that they provided me with towels as well! I also stayed after check-out at the café to enjoy lunch, I have to say that the curry was great. The hostel has an amazing and direct view of Mt. Fuji and it is easy to access from the train station. Lastly, after my stay, they helped me to find a valuable thing that I left there. They arranged the shipping to my current location and helped me without asking anything back. Good people. Thank you so so much!

The area is very peaceful and far away from the heavy crowds near the train station. Mt Fuji is clearly visible from the hostel. There is an eating area and sizable shared kitchen open 24/7. The attached café is also a common area when the café is closed. Big garden with seating and tables. The hotel resembles a wooden house or ryokan, so it feels very comfy. Medium sized room size with a very big bed. One of the biggest in any hostels I’ve stayed in. Lockers provided, decently sized. The mattress was thick and comfortable. Big shower rooms. There also a huge full-size bathtub in the hostel wing which is absolutely wonderful.

Family of 5 looking to try a hostel as alternative accommodation to hotel or Airbnb. This was by far the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Beautiful decor with a mix of classic Japanese with the bamboo mats in the room, with modern facilities. Incredibly friendly staff, lovely communal areas inside and out, happy hour bar and a great dinner. Location was short walk from station and easy to get to Lake Kawaguchiko. We even got a view of the summit of Mount Fuji on the final morning.
